Shockwave was a hardcore punk band that began in 1997 out of Erie, Pennsylvania in the United States. The band members consisted of members of bands such as No Innocent Victim, XDISCIPLEX A.D., Jesus Wept, and Neverfall. The band's lyrical content, while the members were Christian, also focused on the cartoon series of Transformers, taking their name from a character within the series.[1]
