Pozar is a dark and ambient black metal project that originated out of Hedricks, Iowa in the United States. The band was formed in 2017 by Jarek Pozarycki of famed black metal acts Elgibbor, Frost Like Ashes, and Fire Throne, as well as Sacred Revelation, Katharos, and Ithiel. The band has released several EPs and a single full-length, independently.

History Edit

Pozar began in 2017 out of Hedricks, Iowa in the United States. The project debuted an instrumental single, titled "Ashes".[1] Following the single's release, the project debuted their album, a self-titled release.[1][2] In April of 2018, the project dropped two EPs, Left and Right Path and Storm.[1][2][3] In June, Pozar released Fire and Ice.[1] However, it was removed from the band's site.[1] The project ended 2018 with the release of The Key EP and the single titled "Malleus Maleficarum".[1] The single, similar to the Fire and Ice EP, would be removed from the band's site as well.

The band would also begin working on a sophomore album, titled Las, with plans to release a limited edition CD.[1][4] In early 2019, the band released two EPs, Pogromca and Awakening. Later that year, in July, the project would release a single titled "Enough!" and an EP, Fire.[1][2][3]
