The band began in 2008 and were set to release an EP, with the lineup of Ronny Hansen (Antestor, ex-Vaakevandring) on Vocals, Vegar Loetveit and Robin Ognedal on Guitars, Steinar Jeffs on Bass, Didrik Vareide on Keyboards, and Jo Henning Børven (Antestor, ex-Arvinger) on Drums.

History Edit

Morgenroede began in 2008, originating out of Olso, Norway on the continent on Europe. The band was created by Ronny Hansen on Vocals, Vegar Loetveit on Guitars, Robin Ognedal on Guitars, Steinar Jeffs on Bass, Didrik Vareide on Keyboards, and Jo Henning Børven on Drums.[1]

The band would begin to record an EP. However, upon finishing the recording on the EP, the computer they were storing it on had a hard drive crash, before they were able to back it up. Due to this, the only track they were able to save was their track, "Nemesis".[1]

The band released the track, independently, in January 2009.[2] After that, the band went on a hiatus.[3]

Notes Edit

  • On the site Firestream Music Vault, a member of the band seemingly edited the site, writing: "Some of the members are Christian, and some of us are not. So we are not a Christian band."[4]
  • However, until this can be confirmed by the band publically, the page will remain here. The band also only released one song, so there is little point in debating over it.
