History Edit

Jesus Wept began in 2004, following the disbanding of spirit-filled hardcore band XDISCIPLEX A.D., with former members Dan and Dave Quiggle and Adam Salaga returning to perform together once again. The band, also including Jon Beckman and Sean Sundy on Bass and Guitars respectively, recorded an EP titled Sick City and released it through Strike First Records, a subsidiary of Facedown Records.[1][2]

Jesus Wept continued on, recording a single studio album, which was released in 2006 through Strike First. The album, titled Show's Over, was well received.[1] However, following the release of the album, the band embarked on an unannounced hiatus.
