Heirborne was a thrash metal band that originated out of Kansas City, Missouri in the United States.[1] The band originated in 1987, with the lineup of Bassist J.J. Julian and Drummer Shane Goade. Vocalist Nyk Edinger joined later, in 1989.[2]

History Edit

Heirborne began in 1987 out of Kansas City, Missouri in the United States.[1] The band originated as a three-piece, a guitarist (either Shayne Scholl or Russ King), Bassist J.J. Julian, and Drummer Shane Goade. In 1989, Nyk Edinger joined the band on Vocals.[2] Following his induction to the band. Kenny Carter joined and replaced their guitarist at the time.[3]

The band's debut, titled Morbid Reality, was released through Metal Cross Productions.[3] The demo was reviewed in Heaven's Metal Magazine.[4] Following the demo's release, the band disbanded.[1][2] Edinger, Goade, and Scholl would go on to form Absalom, which would later become Possession.[1][2]
