Armageddon Holocaust was an extreme black metal project that originated out of Jakarta, Indonesia on the continent of Europe. The band was created by Doctor D and Dark Thriller, as a one-time project, with the self-proclaimed title of Apokalyptic Destruction metal in 1999.

History Edit

Armageddon Holocaust began in 1999 out of Jakarta, Indonesia on the continent of Europe. The band was created by Doctor Dark (or Doctor D) and Dark Thriller as a one-off project.[1] The band would release an album titled Into Total Destruction, which would debut through THT Productions.[2] With the album's release, the band was disbanded.[3]

In 2002, the band was revived, however, Dark Thriller did not return to the lineup. Doctor D. would hire on Meister J. to take over that position.[3][4] In 2003, the band prepared a second album, which was originally a Doctor D release titled D-Liverance, but with the Armageddon Holocaust name attached to it, the band named the album Radioactive Zone 245.[4][5] In 2004, the band's final album, Nekrofonik, would be released.[6] In 2005, all the band members officially departed from the group, but Armageddon Holocaust carried on as a legal entity.[7]
