Antivenom was a black metal project that originated in 2012 out of Finland and the United States. The project was created by husband and wife duo, Troy and Corinne Thompson and their friend Kalle Kannisto of Armath Sargon.

History[]

Antivenom began in 2012 out of Finland and the United States. The band was created by Troy and Corinne Thompson.[1][2] Kalle Kannisto of Armath Sargon joined the band shortly thereafter.[3] The band signed with Sword Metal Records, home to the Thompson's other band, Lunar Invasion.[4] Following Kannisto's induction, the band began working on their debut album.[3] The band released a single album, titled Sacred Funeral.[1][5][6] Following that the band seemingly embarked on a hiatus. The Thompson's would work on their project Aldegar.[1]
